Global Artist Services is proud to announce that we will be touring in Europe this autumn with Steve Gadd, one of the most influential drummers of all time, and his Band during their „Way back home Tour“. During this 3 week long Tour the Steve Gadd Band will be performing in various venues in Germany, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark and the UK. London will be hosting us in the legendary Ronnie Scott’s where the band will be playing for 6 nights in a row, Oct 3rd – Oct 8th 2016. Global Artist services will be supplying the FOH engineer, who is also the Tour Manager as well as a backline tech for the „Way back home Tour“.

Steve Gadd on drums
Steve Gadd is one of the most well-known and highly regarded session and studio drummers in the industry, recognized by his induction into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 1984. He has worked with popular musicians from a wide range of genres including Simon & Garfunkel, Steely Dan, James Taylor, Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, Grover Washington Jr., Chick Corea, Lee Ritenour and Al Di Meola.
Walt Fowler on the trumpet
Walt Fowler‘s musical career escalated as he toured with prominent artists such as Billy Cobham, Johnny Guitar Watson, Ray Charles, Buddy Rich, George Benson and Diana Ross. In the mid 1990’s, Walt began a new venture orchestrating major motion picture soundtracks. In addition to orchestrating, Walt has been performing with James Taylor since joining his band in 2001 for the “Pullover” tour. Walt has also performed live and/or recorded with an illustrious list of artists which includes James Brown, Roberta Flack, Stanley Clarke, George Duke, Yazawa, The Doors, Edgar Winter, Manhattan Transfer, Fishbone, Paula Abdul, Billy Childs, Banned From Utopia, Toto, Andy Summers, Allan Holdsworth and most recently Steve Gadd.
Kevin Hays on keys
Kevin Hays is internationally recognized as one of the premier jazz pianists of his generation. A prolific sideman appearing on over 60 records, Kevin’s long list of notable musical associations include records with Chris Potter, Joshua Redman, Nicholas Payton, and Al Foster.
Jimmy Johnson on bass
Jimmy Johnson is best known for his work with James Taylor, Allan Holdsworth and Flim & the BB’s.
Michael Landau on the guitar
Michael Landau is a prolific session musician and guitarist who has played on a large number of albums since the early 1980s with artists as varied as Minoru Niihara, Joni Mitchell, Seal, Michael Jackson, James Taylor, Helen Watson, Richard Marx, Steve Perry, Pink Floyd, Roger Daltrey, Glenn Frey, and Miles Davis. Landau, along with fellow session guitarists Dean Parks, Steve Lukather and Dann Huff, played on many of the major label releases recorded in Los Angeles from the 1980s–1990s.
